River City began moving structures in the Austin area in 2009. One of our biggest assets is that we are builders and carpenters that know how to move structures. We self perform our shoring, framing and structural steel services. Since our beginning, we have been expanding our services from solely moving houses to lifting and elevating structures, reorienting structures on existing sites to adhere to new density and zoning laws, reinforcing/repairing/installing foundations, and consulting.

Another unique asset we have is that we specialize in historic structures. We have a deep understanding of how these special structures were built and how they should be addressed during a relocation. Our sister company, James Nolan Construction, often assists in the preservation and restoration of the structure once it has been safely and properly relocated.
